Byrnes was selected by the United States State Department to speak to an international delegation on counterterrorism. Byrnes authored "Before Conflict, Preventing Aggressive Behavior," and has been quoted by and written articles for publications such as the Wall Street Journal, the LA Times, and the Denver Post, while also appearing on radio and TV programs across the nation.
